More than likely will be raining on Saturday. I think it favors UGA since we need all the help we can get.

I think it favors the running qb. Run a bunch of rpo's with Milroe.

No rain in the forecast right now. Plenty of rain on Wednesday, Thursday, and even Friday morning, but not Saturday.

By kickoff Saturday the storm will be over or near the Great Lakes.
Other than a possible random shower or two, it won't have any impact at all.

I don't know that I have ever seen a Tropical Storm move that far north with that kind of speed.. and it is forecast to be a Major when it hits.. this will be an interesting system..
As for the games, I don't think it will have much of an impact, but it might impact the fans that are traveling to the game.
24 N as of 2 AM Thursday
32 N as of 2 AM Friday
Holy smokes..

As much as I love Milroe, he can’t throw consistently to back off the defense. Even if it’s not a downpour, any slick football will cause problem. I ultimately think it falls on Beck to make the plays.

I'm just here to say that this thread is vintage SEC. Instead of thoughts and prayers for the folks that are about to get arse fricked by this hurricane, we're talking about how it's going to effect a football game.

We find out if it’s Bama or if it was Saban, I lean towards it being Saban.

Have this feeling Bama is going to win in spite of Milroe, but Bama could just as easily lose. Its a toss up. Bama probably has overall better coaching. Georgia better overall talent. Hoke team and home crowd doesn't hurt. Georgia has all the pressure which tends to get to Smart's brain.

I've alwasy heard that rain would favor the passing team since the QB and WR know where the route is going while the DB doesn't, so in wet conditions that uncertainty may cause the WR to gain an extra step or two advantage. Who knows if that's true or not. Obviously the flip side of that is it's harder to catch.

I reject the premise of your question. The storm will be well far out of Alabama by Saturday night, next time check the weather forecast

It favors us all if it washes both of you away!

Maybe florida cancels their game because it's in the sec footprint, but I think Bama GA will be beautiful at the kick.

There is currently no chance of rain in Tuscaloosa on Saturday in the National Weather Service forecast. The current National Hurricane Center forecast track has the center of the remnants of the system sitting on the Kentucky/Indiana border by early Saturday morning.

Underrated comment.

Unlike some teams, we keep ours covered before game time
