IDK... USF has put the fear of God into the Gumps the last two seasons.

You just come off as being whiny and afraid that Kiffin may leave so you try to throw shade a UF when actually there is no comparison between the two schools and programs in a lot of areas.

You brought up Ole Miss not us. This thread is comparing the jobs at UF, Tenn and Auburn.

I was throwing shade at UF by mockingly saying that they’re the only school with rich boosters?

You don’t necessarily need a massive fan base to be successful in today’s college football….you just need the right type of fans. Miami has those types of fans…..people richer than shite who crave notoriety. The kind of people who want to show off that they have the star QB on their boat doing lines of coke out of a Latina hookers a-hole.

Miami will do fine in this era of CFB. It’s the legal version of what they were doing back in the 90’s.

Wait a minute, so you think OM fans are afraid Kiffin would actually leave Ole Miss? For Florida???

Of course we are. Well, of course I am. My fellow Rebs here disagree with me, and that’s okay. I hope they’re right and I’m not. I just don’t think Kiffin is capable of turning down the Florida job. It checks almost all the boxes for him.

Florida
Auburn
Tennessee

Florida should be fairly easy recruiting. Auburn would be highly satisified with 8-9 wins a season if one of them is against Alabama 2 of 5 games. Tennessee is a hard recruiting situation with highly unrealistic expectations.

Spurrier and Urban only coached at Florida for a combined 18 years. They are the only two Florida coaches who ever won an SEC title or national title at Florida. In the whole scheme of things, 18 years is not very long.

Don't move the goalposts.

Your first claim was about "success at a national level." Now, it's conference and national championships.

But, nevertheless, you're wrong. Florida had success at a national level beginning about 1980. They finished in the top 5 and would've won the SEC had they been eligible to do the same a couple of times during that decade.

I think UT would have to be the most desirable job right now of the 3. Their NIL is very well run and you could make the argument that Danny White is the best athletic director in the country. It's close between Florida and Auburn. Both have a ton of potential but come with crazy expectations. Auburn plays UGA and Bama every year and Florida plays UGA, Tennessee, LSU and FSU every year. Both fan bases are calling for your head if you win less than 10 games so the schedule makes it difficult. I'd probably prefer the UF jobs just due to the talent in FL.

Florida does not play LSU every year and FSU is an even bigger dumpster fire than Gata.

Auburn has no chance in NIL.

you Texas fans needs to just sit out a few season til you get a better understanding of the conference and its team.

No chance with NIL at AUBURN???

Exactly, with nil/portal there’s no need to for a longterm rebuild- all they need is the right coach and if Florida gets the support they need from the school and the alums they could be in the playoffs next season

If winning a National Championship is your primary objective:

Florida
Auburn
Tennessee

If being happy with good seasons, having strong fanbase support, and best place to live are your primary objectives:

Tennessee
Auburn
Florida

How do you figure that AU has more potential than TN? The vols have no major in-state rivals and are in the top 3 in NIL for the SEC last time I checked.
