It's the other way. In a few years nearly all SEC team fans will pull for Tennessee over Oklahoma after realizing just how terrible their fanbase is.

Im pulling for the Vols. Hate the bastards but they are an original SEC member. Original members take precedence, unless it impacts UGA in some manner.

It's interesting- I always thought of Tennessee as a cool, fun school with great fans. Kind of like Georgia used to be before they got good at football/ cocky.
But as a Texas fan coming into this new conference, I have been absolutely blown away by how terrible the Vol fans are. I had no idea. Truly. The scumbaggery on display in this forum, for example, is unreal.
Has it always been like this and I just missed it?

Texas trying to make this OU-Tenn week about them. They can’t stand the Sooners are on prime time under the lights with the entire country watching them.
It’s SEC weekend, and they play ULM…lol

Funny. I went to our games in both Tuscaloosa and Knoxville. Pretty much all the fans I encountered as well as the ones on the Internet afterward said that the OU fans were pleasant and cordial and the feeling was mutual.
Meanwhile both fanbases told us how horrible the other’s fans were.
One might conclude that a rival might be somewhat biased in how they view their rival’s fans.
But it is understandable that you would be confused as most fans view Texas fans as condescending and insufferable.

Educate yourself…you will never see Texas pull for either the Sooners or Aggies unless they need a win to further their own self interests.
