Reading that description and looking at this gif, Which one of those scenarios best applies? You HAVE to settle on scenario A.

I'll always believe you gotta keep your head on a swivel. If you wanna make a play on the person and tackle them, you accept the consequences.

Stupid rule.

Looks like a clear blind side block to me. Definitely seen worse calls.

Why didn’t you cite the actual verbiage of the rule?

Nuss won the game with his flop on this play.

Great acting job.

He BS'd the refs into calling a penalty that didn't happen. I'm a bit annoyed that flopping has come to football, but it is what it is.

It is a stupid rule yes but they are going to put the QBs on a pedestal and Niss was 15 yards away from the play.

Because it's been in like 3 or 4 other threads, but here you go.

quote:

Forceable contact means with the head or shoulder, not the hands.

The refs got it wrong.

The guy hit the QB 15 yards from the play.

Furthermore, South Carolina fans continuing to cry over the call is a perfect reflection of your fan base.

And SC fans will never believe it. Also saying the horse collar was a bad call.

It was stupid by the Cock defender and warrants a penalty.

Odd logic:

"It wasn't a penalty but warrants a penalty because.... reasons."

You are adding your own language to the rule. It doesn’t say anything about forcible contact ONLY being with the helmet or shoulders in what you cited.

The end took a cheap shot because he thought he could get away with it. Very stupid play because Nuss is slow as hell and was nowhere near the runner.

People block all over the field on every play.

It's in the targeting rule.
