General Booty finally gets his shot at Texas

Against UAB recently, Booty went 9/16 for 87yds w/ 0 TDs while rushing once for 2yds. There's a reason we started a tight end at quarterback that year.

I wish all the best for General, but he was that inconsistent and he was never going to see the field in Norman. He was the unfortunate product of what we were left with after the Lincoln debacle, and when DG went down our best option was moving a tight end over and running a wildcat. We literally had no quarterback room to speak of that year.

Again, there is a reason he's no longer in Norman and he's playing for Louisiana Monroe. There's also a reason the University of Texas schedules teams like Louisiana Monroe.
