Various media outlets are mentioning these guys along with a few others (namely Univ of Washington's HC, Jedd Fisch).
Gus could take the bus up the road to Gainesville from Orlando without ever having to move his belongings.....sure would save UF admin a bunch of money in the process.
Does anybody really believe Kiffin would actually leave Ole Miss for Florida after all that he's done to build the Rebels into a national power? He's only 49 years old. I say, look for UF to offer big bucks to get him -- but, gets turned down. I think he'll stay at Ole Miss (he'd be wise to do so).
Drinkwitz? Hmmm. Naw. He'll stay. That leaves Gus the Bus. Get ready, Gators. He could be your man.
What'ya'all think?

No they aren’t

I still think Kiffin would jump at Florida. Why? Because Florida’s potential is far greater than Ole Miss. When it’s all said and done, it’s Ole Miss. Florida has been national champions before and can get there easier than Ole Miss.

When lane figures out this year that even with a loaded team, he’s still outmatched by Texas, Bama, Georgia, Ohio State, etc he’ll start looking around for more resources. There’s a hard ceiling in Oxford since integration.

He would be an idiot if he did.

Your desperation is palpable.

What booster’s will pay the buyout and how much is it by mid season. Gus made his hay off of the shitstorms at Saban. Those days are over for him.

I think they should make things right by bringing Dan back.

It will cost about 60 million all said and done to get rid of Billy. The roster is a dumpster fire and the boosters aren’t aligned. No one in a good spot will take that. Especially not SEC coaches making 9+ million a year with aligned boosters and known NIL numbers with success. (Lane and Drink).
They will have to go with an older coach who knows if it fails he gets to retire with a big arse check or a young up and comer who wants to make 400% more than he is making now.
That job is a dumpster fire right now. We aren’t in 2012. College football has changed. UF isn’t an elite job right now. Not until they get organized.

There is also mystery around lanes actual buyout. I’ve heard $12 million
