I think he just needs to settle in a bit. First game of the year. Obviously frustrated with some of those throws

He’s off the mark. Work out kinks, but those should have been worked out by now.

True, but if he’s having an off night, I’d rather it be now than against A&M or another tough out

He's not placing it well at all. That last throw to Johnson wasn't even close to where he needed to put it

Always been a rhythm QB. He will be better when they unshackle the offense. BUT, no more damn trick plays!!!

Really like the defense tho. Playing fast means they aren't overthinking things. Great for the first game.

Also, let's not try to make every game the "Luther" show.

Not Cook's best night throwing, but I've seen some good things tonight.

I'm loving the new RBs. Talent seems to be everywhere. Good times!

He missed or didn’t throw to an open Burden. Burden could of had 2 more 2 TD’s.

Best part of the game was watching Kewan Lacy. He is exciting

This first game looked different than previous openers.

Sure it's Murray State ... but defense looked fast. RBs looked loaded with speed. WR room is stacked.

Cook went through some progressions, missed on at least 2 TDs over the top ... but I think he'll work to fix it. Pyne looked like a seasoned Stetson Bennett III ...

Know it's only one game but this team looks better than last year ...

The deep balls I can accept, but that missed pass to Norfleet early in the game was a head scratcher. It was about 5 feet too high. But I won’t worry unless he’s still making throws like that in the BC game

QBs get amped and it happens. Ask Chase Daniels about the first half vs Oklahoma.

Here’s been here long enough to not miss gimme TDs against low level competition. Wish he had Lock’s deep ball, the one good thing he had.
