Bama and the playoffs

All Bama has to do is just win 10 games. That's pretty much a given. After that, Bama can win it all especially with the advantages afforded an SEC team who doesn't make the SECCG.

How many SEC teams besides Alabama made it with that criteria

It’s my sincere hope that a team doesn’t get punished for playing in the championship game. Example, if at end of season Oregon and Penn st end up 12-0 apiece, and Ohio St is 3rd in big 10 ranked 6, then the loser of that game fall behind Ohio St, the loser of the championship game should not fall below the 3rd ranked team in the conference in the final playoff poll.
