Went to FSU!

Alabama fans

Roydell Williams
Shawn Murphy
Earl Little Jr.
Malik Benson
Terrance Ferguson

Are the 5 Alabama players that transferred to FSU when Coach Saban retired. They are 0-1 in conference play……. In the ACC!

Should have stayed that arse at home!

Roll Tide!

Of all the transfers that occurred, Downs and Williams were the most disappointing to me. Downs was after a bag and he got it so can’t really fault him.

Not if they were never going to get playing time. Guy like Roydell needed to go somewhere he could show his stuff. He gave it a legit shot at Bama and was going to be buried on depth chart as an upper classman.

You guys need to get over it
Won’t be the first and last to transfer in this era
Every team is losing players
What you gonna find is teams will decide what players are worth keeping by how much they pay them
Players aren’t waiting to be backups

What part of my post made you think I’m not “over it”? Teams like Alabama will benefit from the portal way more often than be hurt by it.

Don’t think the transfer free for all is good for the game as a whole, but it’s a net positive for Bama.

Roydell was going to be 3 on the depth chart at best at Alabama this year. He is #1 at FSU. He got his championship ring in 2020. The kid wants playing time to get drafted higher. Why you are salty about that is beyond me.

They must know the decline will be in overdrive.

They knew that the first day in Tallahassee. Saturday just confirmed it.

The only one of those guys who wasn't an upperclassman looking at being a rotational player at best the next 2 years was Earl Little, and even he would only have been in that spot due to depth issues at his position.

Roydell is the man, but he wasn't going to get carries. Benson and Ferguson weren't moving up the board. Murphy same deal.

You're right. Roydell, I'll give a dispensation to since he would have gone whether or not Saban stayed. As far as the rest goes -- mainly Downs and Bond -- if you don't want to come to Bama and finish out, frick you. I hope you never make the NFL and if you do, your career doesn't last long.

And yet Bama under a ne'er do well coach (according to LSU fans here) is yet again favored to beat LSU.

In BR.

Bama is truly in decline, aren't they?

It really must suck to be an LSU fan who hates Alabama

Downs handlers were after a bag. Downs himself wanted to stay. Williams did what was best stayed 4 years and moved on to place he would get more touches. Maybe the NFL stock of RBs looks like better fit next year?

You guys need to get over it. We are saying that if you don't want to play for Bama you shouldn't play for Bama win/win for both teams. It's not always in the players advantage to change teams

They have every right to transfer. The appeal was playing for Saban.

Without him, it’s Alabama-lite. They have a ton of trophies, but the coach that was pulling them in is history.

So what if they didn’t want to play on a discount-rack Alabama team.
