Please pray for this young man's family.

Things like this puts what is really important into perspective.

quote:

“Our boy, Caden Tellier has met Jesus face to face,” the Telliers posted. “We appreciate all of your prayers and we covet them for the hard days ahead. Everyone who knows Caden has known kindness, generosity and love, and true to his nature, he is giving of himself one more time. Lives have been touched by the way he lived and now lives will be saved through his passing.

“We will walk out these next few days alongside him in his earthly body knowing that his spirit is rejoicing in heaven. Arrangements for a service will be made soon.”

Apparently he suffered some sort of critical brain injury. Horrible. Prayers out to his loved ones and teammates.

Really sad and hits a little too close to home. My brother coached at Morgan several years ago and is friends with the player's parents.

What exactly happened? Was it a helmet-to-helmet collision?

It won't kill the grief, but knowing he is in heaven will help greatly.

Just awful. Prayers for his family.

Also for the opposing player who had the hit on him. Obviously no fault there, but you still have to live with it for the rest of your life.

Well said. Can’t imagine how he must feel right now, and how to proceed. Don’t want to quit on your team but how do you tackle people after that. I’d have to switch to offense, and maybe hang up the cleats all together. Prayers for all involved
