Georgia Tech might be the most improved team over a two year period. They hired some dang good coaches on D after getting Buster on O. The QB might be the most underrated player in CFB. Glad we got em at home. They could back into playoff. They supposedly have the 4th hardest schedule.

Close to zero percent chance they make the playoff, but they are definitely improved and will be a problem for us if we sleepwalk through the game like we have the last couple of years. I doubt we do that, though. Kirby knows the importance of rivalry games and he's well aware of Key's coaching acumen. I am also glad the game is at night for once. Should work in our favor.

Forgive me if I'm taking teams like Alabama, Ole Miss, Texas, Tennessee, and Clemson more seriously. GT is an afterthought, until they aren't, and that's the week of the game, or until such a time as they can prove to be a consistently good team week in and week out. Beating FSU in the opener on a last second FG, while a big deal for GT, doesn't move their needle for me much at all.

It doesn’t matter where we play them this year

And you think them squeezing by a team that will end 8-4 will bode well for the rest of their schedule?

ACC is garbage outside Miami and maybe Clemson this year.

I can’t really see 2 ACC teams getting in this year, unless Clemson and Miami go 10-2 each, with the BIG10, SEC and BIG12 packing it full.

Buster Faulkner is a legit OC and will be the next big thing, IMO.

First instant overreaction of the season and it's only Week Zero. Strong!

The Gnats have a good OL and defensive front 7. Their secondary is awful. the QB is good, but until he gets sacked a few times and throws some INTs we won't know if he is good enough.

Tech has played Georgia really tough the last 2 years and it's a rivalry game. You would hope we don't sleep walk through that game again this year. Key is a really good coach. I would expect some big schools come after him he goes 8-4 at Tech for a few years. I would expect Faulkner gets some offers as well. Be interested to see how Tech does this year. They always seems to struggle against Duke and other weak ACC teams.

First off is only one game, and yes they are much improved but their quarterback can't throw for shite they're going to get figured out real quick if he doesn't get it together because to me right now they're just one dimensional. Either the quarterbacks running or he's handing it off to the running back. That is not sustainable for the rest of the season. Secondly, Florida State quarterback is straight dog shite. I can't recall the last time the number one quarterback in the country coming out of high school was this arse at three different schools.

31-23
37-14
45-0

Avg margin of victory is 25pts

Not that close

Last year we sat Bowers, Mimms, McConkey, Mondon and we were up 31-13 in the 4th qtr

FSU is a bad team right now. Their portal players were big names for other schools but little production and DJU has always sucked at playing QB in college

Congrats to Tech, they lined up and played hard. That win was more on how bad FSU played, their QB is horrendous, and their defense was lost, getting ran over, and could not tackle! Tech tried to give the game away 3 separate times in the second half, against a better opponent they lose that game by 2 scores!

Reminds me of everyone riding Colorado's jock strap after they beat TCU in the opener last year. TCU was obviously overrated to begin with, but that didn't stop all the knee jerkers from putting Colorado and Prime in the playoffs after game one. Reality quickly set in.
I do think GT is much better than Colorado was last year, but FSU is not a playoff contender right now and that victory doesn't mean GT will be UGA's kryptonite.

I doubt that he will stay at Tech for very long because you can only do so much with a second tier talent roster.

There are several programs that will pay him at least double what he is making at Tech.

Well that’s hurtful.
