THIS IS NOT A CONFERENCE EXPANSION THREAD

I'm not looking for who to add, but rather, what other teams/fanbases fit culturally with the SEC.

These are the only ones I could think of but the Sunbelt may contain some culturally fitting teams as well.

Clemson
FSU
Va Tech
West Virginia
Oklahoma State
Texas Tech

This doesn't make any sense to the topic, whatsoever.

I think South Alabama and Georgia Southern would fit in.

We're running out of Confederate states to let in. Oklahoma was a stretch, but many Native Americans did join the Confederacy. Is it OK now to include Southern sympathizers?

I don't believe you're mentally lacking, so I'll just assume you're uninformed. Oklahoma was Indian Territory during the Civil War (did not become part of the Union until 1907) and was aligned and fought with the Confederacy…and, yes, we are a Southern state. Anyone who believes otherwise has never spent any meaningful amount of time in Oklahoma.

Which is why I mentioned the Native Americans. What part of this historically accurate truth is stumbling you?

Va Tech are some strange people and that campus is depressing (like Aggie).

WVA seem to hill billy ish with the burning of couches

UVA too uppity.

Clemson & FSU would be the only good fits IMO.

Perhaps my assumption was incorrect.

Virginia Tech. That part of Virginia still acts like Southerners. And they can make some noise

As someone who has spent a LOT of time in Oklahoma, I can confirm this. At least the areas around Tulsa were very Southern in nature (except for the abundance of Tabbouleh in restaurants).

Liberty would fit right in, they'd just need to expand their stadium

West Virginia

Yes but only because they would take over as the trashiest fan base in the conference.
