Yeah, about that schedule. Can anyone off the top of their head (no google) name Maine's mascot?

The Blackbears.

One of my old bosses went to school there.

You could certainly be right about that. Tennessee is their first ever SEC game and in Norman, so I am thinking the Sooners are going to be jacked for this game.

It's also Heupel's return to his Alma Mater for the first time since they let him go...so he will probably be pretty amped up, too.

Heupel will be very amped up for this one. First SEC game ever for Oklahoma and it's a big one. The national media is going to be all over this game like flies.

Of course I remember Mizzou being jacked about Georgia coming into COMO for their 1st ever SEC game and it didn't help. So what do I know.

Don't compare a Mizzou 1st SEC game to an OU 1st. We are not the same animals, Sir.

For sure. The word is that OU is planning some kind of reunion to honor the 2000 national championship team during pregame. Heupel was the QB. So maybe that will soften his heart.

His sister is married to one of our state politicos. Former senator, governor, and university president David Boren's son Dan. He is now a big wheel in the Chickasaw Nation tribe.

They could go 6-6 or 11-1.

If they go 11-1 with that schedule they'll win the SEC and the NC, but that's not happing. They don't have the horses for that.

Not much, apparently.

Mizzou is not Oklahoma.

Oklahoma is 67 - 24 - 5 against Mizzou, so please don't ever use that comp again.

Looking forward to the game vs Tennessee and Oklahoma legend Josh Heupel. It should be a great one, win or lose

you lost to ku last season. we haven’t lost to them in almost two decades.

Just because it is their first ever SEC game and also in Norman. Remember Smokeyone

I can see that. The team really wants this one for Heupel. They want to rub it OUs face a bit.

I think OU will be fine in the SEC, I also think they will have considerably more seasons with less than 8-9 wins than they did in the Big 12.

Oklahoma could be better than some expect, but that OL gives me pause. Doesn't matter how good the WR are if the QB is always on his back.

Everyone selling Oline short. Our OL coach is great. And people are looking at returning players to judge it. But if one looks at experience it is not as bad as some hope for

Watch that back third of the season. OU is going to wear down. They have a much harder schedule than Texas this year.
