Yeah that's kinda where I was going with my question. People acting like he's on his death bed or something.

Someone that’s competent I work at a joint center in MS. Not sure who the best is in AR.

What's the recovery time for hip surgery?

We do outpatient hip replacements. Hips are easier on patients than knees. Obviously you aren’t 100% quickly, but you’re up and moving day 1. Takes weeks to get over, but nothing like a knee.

That's extremely encouraging. Sounds like it would have minimal impact even from an offseason recruiting standpoint.

Credit to Pittman today the team showed up ready to play and we put it out of reach without slowing down too much today although defense got sloppy for a bit.

Defense is starting to worry me. It looks like we're going to be crawling across the finish line on that side of the ball.

On the other hand, when's the last time we scored 50+ in a conference game? What a joy to behold.

State has been putting up 300 plus total yards on better defenses in A&M and Georgia.

It would be a much more serious issue if it was a broken hip.

As an aside from all the hip talk...

OM, Texas, and Mizzou suddenly all look very pedestrian opposed to earlier in the season. Not saying we'll beat them all or even 2 of the 3, but what once seemed like sure losses now doesn't seem so.

I'd say 8-4 is on the table, but 7-5 is looking pretty likely. And that certainly keeps this staff together for at least one more year, especially IF we get a bowl game win and the fact that Green will be a monster with another year in BP's system.

You drop to 2+ and pick up Ford and Petrino.

If the requirement is to not win a SEC game, it's all gas and no brakes.

I’m about 85% sure if Weigman plays against us we win.

And we treated them as such for once. It was a stark change to playing up and down to opponents.

6 wins and a bowl game keeps the staff together I think. Good bad or otherwise.

It's less about the raw stats of the game and more about how they looked on the field. We aren't hitting nearly as hard (tackling was awful) or swarming nearly as quickly as we were earlier in the year. It looks like the depth issues are starting to rear their head.

I hope I'm wrong, but it looks like a squad running low on juice.
