Yeah UGA fans haven't earned a reputation of trying to downplay their players arrests the past few years or anything.

I guess that’s fair (although I’d argue that the overwhelming majority of our fans have not tried to downplay the arrests of our players). I just felt like in this situation Floyd was referring to the program, and didn’t feel the need to state the obvious, which is that it is awful for the kid.

Eta: well maybe I’m wrong

He hurt a child?

He's off the team.

You must be a little child. When I grew up in the 80s that was mild punishment. Gen Xers were beaten with belts and worse. We used to cut our own switches to then get beaten with by our parents.

In today’s world, a child cannot be physically punished without consequences for the parent. That’s a step forward for humanity but maybe a step backwards in terms of civility.

An ignorant Florida fan thought they were funny? Because that’s the only reason it was named the Fulmer cup.

Has Kirby ever kicked a player off the team?

Well, we live in a world with very divergent opinions on things customary in the old days.

If it is straight abuse, I would want him gone.

If it is the type of abuse our parents and teachers handed out in the old days with belts and paddles, I withhold judgement.

From the minimal details, it sounds like while he was beating the shite out of his family and some kids he was not in a vehicle going 150 MPH. So he has that going for him.

I like how people on this board are allowed to completely imagine that something happened and then it's accepted as fact.

Second degree cruelty to children means that you were smacking someone around in the presence of children.

RaRa will be the second since February. David Daniel was dismissed for traffic violations.

I grew up being physically punished by my parents. I turned out ok. That said, I raised two boys who have never been in any trouble (to the point that worries me) and didn’t use physical punishment to do so. Beating on children is not required to raise them. And looking back my parents were cruel to have hit me the way they did ( limb from plum tree, backhanded, hit on bare legs with belt).

Wasn’t he a special teams guy after the 24th incident on the team involving speeding?

Rara is looking at a 5% reduction in NIL money from the collective and he will not be allowed ice at practice next week for the 1st hydration break.

Hypocrites from other programs are likely actively covering something up at their own schools....

Why do you get off on what goes on at other schools?

Come on dude. If you can’t see that UGA has a serious culture problem that’s apparently is not being addressed I don’t know what to tell you. Y’all literally killed 2 people a couple of years ago with zero accountability or consequences.

Ha ha, no, same problem every program has, giving large sums of money to 18-22 you plus the transfer portal has made the sport what it is everywhere.....

Nah man Kirby kicked Adam Anderson, a projected 1st round pick and arguably our best pass rusher since David Pollack.

Rara is gone 100%

Lolz. If I'm a child for growing up in the 80s then you are too.

I got whoopings and deserved them and learned from them. What's your point?

I didn't get abused or slapped in the face/head though. That's different than beating your kid/brother (for the second time).

UGA fans on the rant: "But the charges were dropped the first time."

Thanks for doubling down and proving both of my points though.

Kirby has lost control of the Georgia football players. If he doesn’t get control, it’s going to reflect on this season with losses.
