Patience grasshopper. It's coming. It takes either a mini NFL roster to beat UGA like Bama last year or a team with a generational QB as well as other future NFL skill position talent and an elite line play on both sides to beat them.
Remember that big run by Jalen Wright last year?
That was with slow arse Milton controlling the offense.
Expect a few really big plays like that this year against them both in the passing and running game.
Vols still don't have what I'd call a completely loaded roster but our two deep will be as good as anyone 's in the country and we have lots more depth compared to the previous two years.

2022 Tennessee was the best coaching job I've seen in my life in any sport by any coach bar none.
Heupel inherited a 3 win team in 2021 whose roster was decimated losing all its biggest contributors including a starting traitorous linebacker too Bama in too too and a starting RB to Oklahoma who amassed over 3k yards there and is in the NFL now... countless other examples. Pruitt cheated to bring in some decent talent but lost it all in the end and got us on probation as well.
