I'd like to see LA Gear or Brittish knights come into the mix.
Maybe Oklahoma should try family double dare

We have recruited better than them since then and are currently ranked 2 spots higher than them in the recruiting rankings. Not worried....
They’re favorites to sign 3 more 5 stars. They will finish with the #1 class.

Last time we played Oregon in 2022, we mopped the floor with them....49-3.
I remember that game. Personally I think Oregons style of football will never win a championship. While coaches have come and gone, their recipe has stayed the same. Fast paced, get athletes in space and go, but it lacks physicality.

What you can do is institute a high school draft
About as absurd as capping NIL
There's zero chance a "draft" for HS kids could hold up in court.

Capping nil is reasonable..nfl has caps

The NFL has no caps on NIL. The players are free to sign as many NIL deals as they want. For example, those All-State commercials with players are NIL deals.
But the NIL deals they get are legit, not NIL deals as a means of pay to play.
It would be illegal to put any caps on NIL. The only thing the NCAA can do is put limits on boosters, if they grow the balls to do so. Should have been done to start with.

Alot legal now can be made illegal again between congress ncaa and courts .. can easily bring back an amateur status for college athletes

Same. With no salary cap the sport is even more of a joke than it already was.

Unless you're paying the player and it's a stipulation of a contract you cannot put any limit on their ability to monetize their own name, image, or likeness

I'm sure his family appreciates that inheritance going to professional athletes for some vanity project.

When I was young, people would tell me they had t-shirts older than me.
I thought they were joking.
Now I look at young people today and I think - I really do have t-shirts older than them.
It's not actually a joke.

Young people are a turrible thing but it's the older generations fault

"They'll sign the #1 class..."
Iiiiiii dunno. Maybe. But the usual suspects in the recruiting championship race (UGA, Ohio st and Bama) are definitely not done yet either.
