It really is time to replace Arkansas.

I feel like Arkansas is going to be a big beneficiary of all this. Reopening those Texas pipelines might be just what they need.

There is absolutely no telling when they'll win the league again, if ever now that the new folks are here.

Those same teams and 100+ others were playing baseball. You probably said There's no way they'll ever win the MCWS. Shows what random predictions are worth. Right now our chances of winning the league and title are exactly equal to yours.

Baseball is not comparable to football.

Fun fact #2.

BAMA has won a championship in every decade except the 80’s.

Fixed it for you.

Original post was correct. Florida did not win the SEC until 1991.

Gotta disagree with you here. Since A&M and Missouri joined in 2012, Arkansas has fallen off a cliff. The exact opposite happened, the Texas & Missouri recruiting pipelines completely disappeared.

With Texas & OU joining, that pretty much locks Arkansas out of getting elite talent out of Texas. The scraps simply aren’t enough to compete in the SEC.

Outside of about 15 years Florida has about a .600 winning % over the entirety of their history. They have a losing record to every team in the conference that has won more than one conference title except Tennessee. Nationally they are on the same level as Georgia Tech with only 2 more all time wins than the lowly yellow jackets. Imagine winning as often as Georgia Tech. Thats really sad, almost to the point that kicking the Gators arse ought not be as fun as it is....

I'm still not exactly sure why Kentucky is paying elite money to Mark Stoops.

Pretty simple, look at their records before and after him coaching there. They also have 4 ten win seasons in their entire history and he's coached half of them.

For the better part of 30 years they have been dreadful to mediocre, they had very few winning seasons and most of their winning seasons were with records like 6-5 or 7-5. From 1990-2017 their highest win total was 8. Long way of saying that by far he's the best coach they've had in the last 40-50 years.

Pre Spurrier they were crap. In the stint after Spurrier and before Meyer, they were crap. After Meyer, they have been crap. Their legacy is an 18 year stretch between those two coaches.

Never had more than 9 wins until the OBC's second year; he never had under 9 in his 12 years. There's no way of accurately putting how much Florida football owes to Spurrier, the were a middle of the road program until he changed everything for them.

UGA is missing the 30's and the 90's. Every other decade is covered. Goff and Donnan simply couldn't get it done.

"Reopening"

Did you forget they played aggy in Arlington for the past 12 years? I guess playing in Austin could help them a bit, but they'll have to win more often than not or it's futile.
