I think so. I can't imagine I would ever be so desperate to believe in something that I would consider Mike Greenberg as a credible voice.

He stated facts.

Half the truth is often the greatest lie.
But hey, good luck trying to belittle me. It hasn't worked for the past 5 years I've been schooling LSU dipshits on the topic, but today might be special.

Well, that's a lie. Not a single of the 3 games I mentioned went into garbage time.
But even if it was true, it doesn't matter. The bottom line is - you were scored on.
My point is that 2019 LSU didn't "barely" win any game.
That's a false narrative, several games looked closer at the end than they actually were.

Two reasons off the top of my head...
-Culture built up over 12 years of the same head coach, who happened to be unquestionably dominant & trusted.
-The most talented roster in CFB in a year coaching & offseason preparation mattered less.
If you want to understand my perspective, look at Tech's famous 222-0 win. It said less about Tech, and more about the disordered state of Cumberland at the time. Similarly, in Covid, a year of chaos & disorder, it's less that Saban ascended & more that other teams faltered, causing a wider gap than normal seasons

Yeah, you did. It's called a scoreboard.

I will give you the chance to point out any game that you felt LSU "barely" won and we can debate it.

I didn't attack you personally, you're just wrong and that's ok.

"how'd that 3-peat workout?"
We fell short of the 3 peat. Just like Bama has fallen short the last 3 seasons. Maybe if you had not have had Helen Keller playing center last year and someone who could actually snap a football, Bama might would have had a shot at another natty.

I already listed 3.
However, If you want to start pretending like some points on the scoreboard don't matter, then I really have nothing to say to you. At no point in time did the 3 games go into garbage time.
If I did the same bullshite for Alabama, then the 6 point Florida win becomes 14 points, and Alabama would be in the discussion with Nebraska.
However, that's not the reality. The reality is, Florida scored another TD towards the end and made it only a 6 point win. And because it's a 6 point win, it's the reason why 2020 Alabama is not the GOAT.
So I'm sure as hell not going to count even worse games in multiple places for LSU.
Hell, 2020 Alabama is easily > 2019 LSU.

Georgia was so bad, Alabama was able to beat them with Helen Keller playing center?
Weird flex.

Yeah..I can see that. But that group was fun to watch
I remember an OSU friend texting me he knew it wasnt a fair fight right after Sark schemed an instant TD because an LB was covering Devonta Smith
Few people ...and that's a general statement threw a deep ball better than Mac. Yeah people were open , but he still hit them in stride. They will get that "yeah but COVID" tag but Jones, Smith, Waddle Metchie Harris Dickerson Neal Leatherwood...with Sark calling plays ...I would put them up against anyone

I still don't understand how anyone can discount playing a 10 game all-SEC regular season schedule. People like to talk shite, but if it were their team that ran the table that season, they'd be proclaiming the same thing.

Mostly because you are completely unable to make an actual argument towards your opinion.

You seem to be making some strawman arguments here.
I never said 2019 LSU was tGOAT or better or worse than 2020 Alabama, I'm saying it's a false narrative to pretend that LSU "barely" won those games.
I don't recall Alabama ever having the ball with a chance to tie or take the lead vs 2019 LSU in the entire second half, odd to pretend LSU "barely" won that game.
LSU led Auburn by 10 for much of the 4th quarter until Auburn scored with a little over 2 minutes left, LSU never let them have the ball again. Another team that didn't even have a chance to score or tie.
It's just a false narrative.
"Barely" winning a game is something like the 2023 Iron Bowl.

Auburn scored. You don't get to pretend like the game wasn't in question and that they didn't score. All they needed was to get an onside kick, a fumble or some other Auburn voodoo bullshite, and then they could have scored again and won.
That's just the reality of it. Florida could have done the same thing to Alabama after making it only a 6 point game.
Same with Alabama and LSU. All it would have taken was a few weird plays. And we already saw that happen to LSU just a few years prior. LSU had the ball with less than 1 minute left, and still lost.
And while you claim it has nothing to do with the GOAT bullshite, which just highlights your dishonesty, you are only trying to stretch out the meaning of the words "barely won" to avoid the point that the MOV points out LSU is not the GOAT.
So go ahead, call the MOV whatever you want, the point remains. Your defense could NOT stop the other team. Over and over, and to teams that lost 4 and 5 games on the year.
1. 1995 Nebraska
2. 2020 Alabama.
3. 2019 LSU.
Deal with it.

So all they needed was something completely improbable to happen and they may have had a chance to win.
I'm glad you're finally starting to understand

If it's so improbable, why couldn't your defense stop the teams to begin with?
You can keep looking for ways to dismiss the teams scoring, but they still scored.

I mean they did, at times. It's not like every team scored on every drive.
