All of college football lost out when Saban retired

In a lightweight and frivolous era populated by weak and inconsequential men, Saban was a throwback to old, forgotten times.
He had almost no feminine traits that are prevalent in so many men today. He didn't smile much; men aren't supposed to; it's kind of gay.
He didn't laugh continuously like a lightweight jackass trying to fit in. Things weren't that funny to him, in general.
He didn't suffer idiocy very well at all and would often snap at dumb-asses for little to no reason at all just because the way they looked irritated him.
He was only 5' 1" tall, but made NFL players literally cry because they were afraid his balls of steel were going to wreck their lives and likely crush them to dust.
He did what he said he would do and was taken seriously because he was a serious man doing serious things in serious ways.
Nick Saban had heft, he had charisma, he was an icon that every college football fan admired and looked to for guidance because he, one of a very few left like him, seemed like a real adult.
Thank you Coach Saban, not just from your faithful flock of Alabama fans who are better people than most others and deserved you more than anyone else did, but thank you from all of America on this 4th of July.

The loss is really hitting Bama fans hard.

That tune would change if he left to coach at Auburn.

Saban was an OG throwback coach and real man i can agree with those points.
But disagree that it's bad for CFB...he ran a total monopoly before NIL was introduced and promptly exited as soon as it began just like he did in the NFL when the playing field was more level.
Regardless of how he was so successful, there will NEVER be another Saban.
Especially not for YOU.
Enjoy a slow downtrend followed by the dumpster fire that's rapidly approaching gumps.

Wonder what his thoughts would be on cringey "dear diary" hero worship posts on public message boards.

Saban had some great old school qualities but he was fairly cucked to his wife.

I thank God everyday that I don't have this myopic world view that people in Alabama do.

I've heard that she still has to order for him when they go out to eat.
