So Texas takes the greatest coach in a&m history, and a&m responds by taking Texas’ 4th most important coach on the staff

That’s weird. When Texas took A&M’s coach with ease, it was certainly about a&m

We will see. Certainly he’s unproven as a head coach. It may backfire. But it might not. He’s actually a very good coach.

He's probably considerably cheaper than hiring a proven coach which was the whole problem to begin with. Jimbo still paying benefits.

Good hire. Will keep the roster together, but also is a young and well respected up and coming coach.
Could be a home run, but if it isn’t, you can move on quickly.
