Is it a requirement to **Leave Your Family** to be a head coach at Texas A&M and Texas?

Leave your family?

Really? And you're bragging about it?

How does that work?

Your FAMILY is not allowed to move with you? You don't have time for your wife and kids anymore?

That was a pretty wild quote TBH. "I left my family but I won't leave this job"

I mean, that's the craziest shite I've ever heard.

Can't buy a house in the new town? Yes you can.

Can't rent a UHaul or hire movers? Yes you can.

If I'm a mother/father of college baseball prospects, I don't want my kid anywhere near this psycho crybaby queer Schloss

Good question. I have wondered that too. Did he abandon his wife and kids? Or does he mean that he left behind some extended family or something?

Weird guy and an a-hole.

Well he got divorced. That’s why he left his family in Fort Worth.

Why did he get divorced?

He left his family. He was so proud of himself when he said it.

He didn't clarify anything.

It's kind of the opposite of loser arse Chad Morris' family refusing to move with him to Arkansas.

Evidently his wife was a big time drinker. The divorce happened a while back and when he left the divorce had been done. His daughters were in college when he left so they were at least 18 years old. It was not like he left them high and dry like he did to aggy.

Did he cheat on his wife or something?

His wife was a big time drinker doesn’t add up.

Del Conte is a big time drinker…

Bizarre reply for sure. He didn't handle that question well. I don't care. Win baseball games.

From what we understand his family (wife/kids) left him in a divorce with claims of cheating.

If you wanna dive into rumor mills word is Schloss was asked to leave TCU due to an inappropriate relationship with a staffer. Which is why after years of not leaving TCU for A&M or texas, he was suddenly trying to get out Fort Worth when the A&M job opened in 2021.

So yeah, he left his family to go to A&M, but arguably out of necessity.

So A&M ignored the red flags about Coach PoS because he is a good coach.

Well that’s what happens when you dance with the devil…

Like Jimbo, his marriage imploded around the time Aggy came calling. College Station is where you go when you need to get away.

I can't really talk as my own marriage imploded not long ago and in the last decade LSU's football coaches have had some marital issues of their own. However, our baseball coaches are solid family men by all accounts.

In hindsight, yeah, the signs were there.

It's definitely hard on families where the dad is basically in a job where he never stops working. The mom pretty much raises all the kids and doesn't have a real partner. Her being a drinker wouldn't be surprising. Either of them cheating because he isn't around wouldn't be surprising.

It's pretty much a leave your family to their own devices situation even if you live in the same house with these types of roles.

You get the greatest results in athletic department history?

Y'all seem pretty ungrateful for his accomplishments considering he was the best coach in your school’s history
