I have no idea if any of them knew. I have known for years because my firm has a small satellite office in Fort Worth that I work out of 3-5 days per month. Not much is kept secret in that town.

Dude, you hide these things when a coach is winning. Sumlin was a drunk caught on camera, Gillispie had to have a personal chauffeur while in College Station. The PoS probably missed his swinger buddy - college station is kind of boring for somebody like that
Warts come out when the coach leaves.
So you're admitting to not caring how a coach acts as long as he makes you feel like you are a winner.
Y'all couldn't sound any more desperate.
That checks.

Honestly have never heard of such.
When something comes out on an LSU coach, its immediately front page news.

I've lived and worked in Texas since 1997. TCU and A&M aren't rivals. They haven't even been in same conference since SWC 30 years ago. So, I think leaving TCU for A&M is not the same. He probably was only going to be given one more year at TCU anyway. People were getting sick of his whiney arse.

Every fanbase is that way. Texas AD is a known alcoholic. He hired a recovering alcoholic in Sarkisian. Beard was a woman beater. He'd probably still be at Texas if she hadn't pressed charges - and won. Augie Guerrero was a drunk, abusive prick. But he won. Didn't come out until later
Hell, look at some of the most successful coaches. The PSU coach was a pedophile. Most recently, the tOSU basketball coach actually hit players, and that is now coming out.

LSU's concealing of Les Miles' sexual misconduct probe was potentially criminal, judge says

Is he going back to the coach who caused everything that went on?

Their longtime Defensive Coordinator. Paterno was not, but he played his part in covering it up.

Coaches don't care nearly as much about rivalries as fans do.
And if we're using that example, Aggie didn't care to "steal" Chavis. They even bragged about it, IIRC.
Then they tried to get Aranda as well, not sure why we're trying to pretend that Aggie is the victim of some moral wrongdoing here. They'd do the same thing, if given the chance.
At the end of the day, Aggies are embarrassed because they believed they were above Texas stealing their head coach, they talked shite to Texas all year and it blew up in their face. All of the other stuff is deflections from that fact.
I don't blame them, I'd feel embarrassed too.

Kent is one player I simply cannot see at Texas. Coach PoS screwed him out of playing time all year until he didn't have a choice. He's also the prize from A&M that is in the portal.

That was concealed within the administration, it wasn't known among the fanbase.

Pretty obvious that’s what is being referred to

I was referring to these things being "out" in the sense that fans knew about them.
If something never leaves the football building, it isn't really "out".

It is funny with all the stuff that' s "coming out now". One story that sounds just stupid enough to be true is that he brought in a dance team to dance on top of the dugouts, something done by many MLB & college teams. Almost immediately, the " old stuff shirts & wives" sitting behind the dugouts & in the immediate area were loud in numbers & comments, expressing their dislike of the dancers. So.........the funny part....a bunch of them brought newspapers & when the dancers appeared, they opened the papers, blocking their view. " He was PISSED ( sources' caps)."

From 1894-2023, only one coach of any sport went from one school to the other, and the men's tennis coach that left went specifically because he was gay and felt that Austin better served his lifestyle (he actually said this was his reason for leaving).

I didn’t say coaches care about rivalries. I was clarifying that A&M and TCU aren’t rivals. Never have been.
I thought Chavis left for A&M when Miles got fired or was about to get fired or something like that. I remember Chavis saying in the press that the contract LSU was giving him looked like a TN Fulmer deal before he got shite canned.
I guess we weren’t looking at same pages cause I never see A&M talking shite to Texas. It’s always the other way around.

People at Florida knew about Miles screwing coeds while he was still employed at LSU. I remember hearing about it a year or two before he was fired. Maybe it was known in coaching circles and our coaches had loose lips. Or maybe more of the LSU fan base we’re talking about it than you thought. Who knows.

They both go at it back and forth on this board all the time.
