We got close boys, so close. But the sun came up this morning. Life goes on. The future is bright. Let's finish the job in 2025.

I think we have at least an outside shot of getting all those guys on campus from what I’ve been following of the draft so far. None are sure fire early day 2 types that will get 7 figure offers.
Sanford is pretty unlikely to ever suit up for us. Sawyer Farr had a lot of hype in the winter but it seems to have cooled a bit

Baseball is probably the major men’s sport I follow the least (so behind football and basketball), but damn if they didn’t draw me in this year, well before the Omaha run. So dang close, wish they would’ve pulled it out for all of you diehard baseball fans that have stuck with them through the years.
Schloss seems like the right guy for the job, really hope he stays and all the rumors are just smoke. Hope there’s some news on the new stadium front, I’m definitely going to try and make it to a few more home games this next season.

No, definitely not great. But he is supposedly meeting with A&M decision makers tonight. If he was already gone, I don't think that meeting takes place, so I take it as a good sign.
It's just as likely that he's using whatever Texas is offering to get further concessions (or firming up commitments on previous agreements) from our athletic department.

Sounds like he is gone. I hope our fan base didn’t need a reminder that these guys are mercenaries who don’t actually care about the school like we do, but this will be one.

In other words, it's on brand for us.
and with that, I think I'm done with A&M sports for the foreseeable future. I basically took all of 2022 and 2023 off and should have taken 2024 off as well.

No reason we shouldn’t get a great coach. But it will be interesting to see what the roster looks like next year with this. Seeing as this man is an absolute slime ball I’m sure he’s doing what he can to bring our roster there

I don’t know if he is a slime ball. At the end of the year he was still making $1.5M. Baseball stadium renovation was still languishing up until a month ago.
It’s a shitty way it unfolded but it could have happened after the Oregon series had we lost. Sounds like this was done awhile ago. Not sure how incompetent our athletic department is but did they know anything prior to rumors that started a week ago?
