The only player to get a DUI for UGA under Smart that I remember is Trevor Ettiene, who was a UF transfer who hasn't been at UGA long enough to get much of the culture.

Does there seem to be an issue with UGA football players driving too fast and racing? Yeah there does.

But think about that for a second. UGA's cultural problem is racing cars.

Not drugs.
Not weapons.
Not sexual assault.
Not robbery.
Not theft.
Not DUI.
Not violence.

Racing cars.

You'll have to excuse me if I don't think that's an end of the world issue. It's a problem that UGA is working on, but as far as problems go it's minor.

Perhaps not as minor as Mark Richt. His big issue was always arrests for "driving with a suspended license" which in Georgia means... you have unpaid parking tickets. But people liked to think UGA had culture issues back then too.

Parking tickets and speeding. Such a thug life.

And not paying hookers with school credit cards..or was it using his school phone to call the hookers? I can't remember.
