re: Ugliest state in the sec?

The Texas panhandle isn’t that bad. It’s rugged and windy, but has some nice features. One thing I enjoyed there were the evenings. It would be 100F on a hot summer day with no humidity, then regularly dip down into the 60-70s with nice sunsets and a steady breeze. Winters could be odd. The occasional blizzard would dump 2ft of snow in your driveway and two days later it would all melt off lol. Went sledding a few times. Just gotta avoid the mesquite, yuccas and cacti. The only place in Texas I avoid like the plague is West Texas. Specifically anything around Midland/Odessa. It’s like being on Mars and always smells like benzene.
