rare air - the old Wichita State teams had a couple that won 70+ games way back when
Carolina and Bobby Richardson went 51-6-1 in 1975 when the Gamecocks faced Texas in the CWS title game - .879% win% -
Richardson's Gamecocks went 48-8 in 1974 so that was a 99-14-1 record over 2 seasons - .868% -
Ray Tanner holds the record at Carolina with 57 wins in 2002 - he also had a 56 win two seasons prior - he had five 50+ wins seasons at USC -

No?
Tennessee with a chance to be considered the GREATEST team in SEC college baseball history. Pretty neat
Can’t believe mighty LSU baseball has not won 60 games in a season

damn dude. they make the finals, and you're already labeling them the best ever? There are more games being played in the season now, or did you not know that?
Credit to them for getting here, BUT LSU had much better teams over the long term than Tennessee will ever have.

Per NCAA records, no current SEC team has ever won more than 60 games in a single season.
However, newcomer, Texas, won 66 games in 1983, losing 14 games. The Longhorns were the national champions, beating runner-up, Alabama, which finished 46-11.
The Wichita State Shockers hold the all-time record for victories.....in 1982, they went 73-14. They were runner-up to champion, Miami Hurricanes, which finished 55-17-1.

You've just played more games. Vandy ended the season 58-12 (your record now) in 2019. Won 1 additional SEC game and didn't share the title. Also won SECT and CWS. Sorry Vols, no claim at GOAT status.

Which still won’t count as an SEC record since it was done evicted hand.

Oh wow, two fewer games played. That settles it I guess.
Using this exact logic, I’m sure you’ll agree that Tennessee playing two more games than yall and ending with the same amount losses (12) would be just as valid of a claim favoring our argument as being the GOAT SEC baseball! ;)
