A failing football team, underperforming basketball team (can’t even make NIT?), and a clearly declining baseball program. Is LSU unable to compete in the new NIL era?

You idiots have been "wish casting" an LSU demise for about 20 years now. Yet, LSU will once again win another Natty in football within the next five years, another Natty in baseball within the next 4 years, and will win another Natty in WBB in within the next 3 years.

Meanwhile in College Station.....1939

Maybe. But we’re still doing better than TAMU.

Well, considering that LSU won natties in 2019 and in 2023, I guess you could say there was a "decline" the following years.

But then I guess Bama has been in decline since 2020. Also, Georgia must be in a decline. They didn't even make the playoffs last year!

When you think about it, in basketball, they are really a total mess. Maybe even hopeless. Football is much more of a gradual decline, but I think we're getting to the point where we can safely say, we're getting dangerously close to the Cholly Mac era.

Based on the metric that I know more about college football than you do. Stick to flying airplanes.

11x Award Winning SECRant user Tuscaloosa has won two of the last 3 ATS Championships on this very board. The only reason it’s not 3/3 is because I didn’t participate in one of them.

I do not think you know more about college football than me.

I also do not think LSU will win a national championship in football in the next 5 years, because there is no objective data, other than historical trends, to suggest that.

Enjoy.

just in the last 24 months they have won a baseball national championship and a women's basketball national championship and had a Heisman winning QB. A football program that had back to back 10 win seasons.

Yes, we are in a free fall if only we could have put ourselves in a position to fire a coach and owe him 1 billion dollars then we could be winners like A&M.

Compared to who? Bama is the only school to see more success since 2000 than LSU in the last 25 years.
