Sure they had an outstanding football season by their standards but they lost too much to hope for much this year.

Basketball program is a joke (2017 was the last conference winning record)
WBasketball wishes they were as good as the men’s team
Baseball and softball are terrible.

The Mizzou AD is in worse shape than Vandy and Vandy isn’t even trying.

Is it time to relegate Mizzou? Maybe the Mountain West is more to their ability level.

Obviously, you don't. Just starting a thread about Mizzou on a Tuesday morning

So if Mizzou beat Tennessee 36-7, and Mizzou should be relegated to the Mountain West, where would that leave Tennessee? FCS Southern Conference?

I don’t give a damn about them. They should go back where they came from

Tennessee is now making threads about Mizzou? Damn, I knew it was bad, but not that bad.

Last year was a good season for Mizzou, but this season will be even better. Yes we lost some talent to the NFL (twice as many players drafted as Tennessee if you're keeping track), but Drink has recruited and developed at a level where there won't be a major dropoff. Mizzou is a playoff team this season, there is no doubt about that. The only question is whether we can pull a bye in the first round or not.

You seem to be obsessed with Mizzou.

Put me on the side with the doubters.

Drinkwitz has one winning season at Mizzou, lets not get ahead of ourselves here.

I never really knew how much I didn't liked Tennessee until the moment when I found myself pulling for the Alabama softball team in their series against the VOLs.

In contrast, I actually pulled for Mizzou in their series against Duke and for LSU in their series against Stanford.

No doubt but it's also a big leap to go from a coach on the hot seat to perennial playoff contender in one season.

Drinkwitz is a better coach than people realize.

It will be interesting to watch his career path.

Mizzou has more SECCG appearances than Tennessee since they joined the conference. Maybe we should relegate the voLunteers

Agreed.

For me though, I need to see at least two winning seasons before I can jump on board with the program being "built."

You are giving the trolls free threads to bump. We could easily end up 7-5 or 8-4. There are no automatic wins in the SEC*

*except for games against Arkansas.

Mizzou has
Grown on me

At first I wasn’t a fan of their addition but they embarrassed Ohio state and helped get Dan Mullen fired so they’ve earned some kudos there

Also their fans don’t complain as much as A&M fans do, so that’s another plus

Glad we don’t have to play them at Columbia in late November every other year anymore tho!

That Gator blood doesn't move as fast up here in November. Still, it took a 4th and 17 conversion to get it done last season.
