IDK, just spit-balling since there are no theoretical schedules, but looking at Tennessee and Kentucky for example, they'd play what, at most three traditional SEC teams per season, if that?

(I realize you said they could move, I mean more in terms of splitting up traditional conference foes.)

Also been a proponent of something similar to this BTW, just always envisioned a 4x16 (64-team) model with wildcards.

True, I guess 4 would be the unlikely. There would be a few teams in that situation, but you have to break a few eggs to make an omelet I suppose. Minnesota, Colorado, Texas Tech, Mizzou, etc.

Most of them would be able to maintain regular play with their traditional rivals/opponents
