With the SEC baseball tournament in full swing, now is a great time to remind everyone that any fan that says "we don't care about x sport" is a coward and not a true fan of their school. Bama and UGA fans are some of the biggest offenders

Bama fans love softball over baseball until they don’t.

I don't follow Mizzou golf. Damn, I didn't realize what a coward I was for that. I'll turn in my courage badge and my fan card. I'm so ashamed.

I don't like the boring-arse sport at any level

Good luck to your team I guess.

I admit I'm a coward. I don't care about basketball, baseball, golf, tennis, gymnastics, water polo, ice hockey, field hockey, volleyball, horseback riding, diving, swimming, track and field, bowling, lacrosse, rugby, softball, soccer, fencing, wrestling or crew.

College baseball is a niche sport that has lower national attendance than women’s basketball and college hockey. Even at LSU, gymnastics meets average higher attendance.

Meh. It’s fun to watch when we win, but I’m not going to pretend to care when we suck. Kinda like LSU fans and college football.

And I am sure you can prove how you are not a complete hypocrite by naming at least half of the current members of the LSU women's tennis team. My guess is you can't name one proving that you don't care about LSU women's tennis and, by your logic, prove you are a gutless coward. 99.9% of LSU fans (as well as fans of other programs) have not watched a single one of their female's tennis matches.

Sorry but only a complete retard would claim fans should care about every sport equally without calling them cowards.

I’m not sure I “care” about any of it as much as I use to.

Sports are something I watch at night or if it’s raining. It’s more mercenary than it once was- although it was fairly mercenary in the good old days.

I appreciate the effort any of these teams give in any sport, but we all know that winning the conference at men’s and women’s golf is all that matter in 2024.

Baseball is sort of a sport that IF you are not tough enough to play football, athletic enough to play basketball, or smart enough to play golf- then you default to it.

Of course, I’m kidding!

They come talk smack when LSU is good and then leave it for folks like me to clean up once the team loses.

What people care or do not care about has nothing to do with their fandom. I simply do not care about Women's basketball. Never have and never will. You don't have to become a huge fan of some sport to prove you are a fan of a school. I mean, Georgia came in 3rd in the SEC last season in the Learfield Director's Cup standings. I wasn't a fan of several of the sports we participate in....some of which we obviously did well in.

I am just happy that Alabama won the series against LSU this year and extended their lead another game in the all-time series record.

Basketball has always been a solid second favorite sport at Alabama, based on attendance, revenue, and ticket sales - even in stretches of down years for the program.
