Pretty good bet it's as they describe. They do not expect this to get past mediation.

He chased money from various entities, the Rashadas tried to play the offers against each other. The strategy failed, they never got a signed contract, and the parties bailed.
They did have signed contracts, just ones with outs in them for both sides before a particular date. Nobody is denying UF had a signed deal with Rashada for 13.85 million. They just had a legal out in the contract.
The Gator Collective sent Rashada a letter terminating the contract... which means it existed and was agreed to/signed.
Did he chase money? Absolutely. He admitted leaving Miami for UF because UF offered more money.
He'd still be at UF if UF hadn't been lying about being willing to pay him what they promised
Lying to someone about giving them money to get him out of a signed deal (thus breaking the contract) is what the tortious interference charge in Rashada's suit is about. You're kind of confirming what he said.
Unless you're stating Hathcock never made him an offer? If so, why'd he go to UF instead of taking the money from Miami? But if he never had an offer, there never would be a deal for the Gator Collective to terminate. It's pretty clear that promise was made, and that it was a lie.

The kid and his family were seeking the highest bidder, they want the $$, period. The kid isn't worth anywhere close to those early Miami/UF NIL offers and went to Arizona for nothin. Wonder what UGA's NIL Collective is paying him for his "services?"
Rashada has publicly stated that UGA made no NIL promises to get him to come to Athens.
They simply told him what starters, backups and QB's further down the bench have gotten in NIL deals in past seasons.
This is how UGA was running their NIL deals before to avoid the NCAA going after them for "Pay to play". Now that pay to play is allowed, UGA may change that approach at some point, but apparently hasn't yet.

I buy this. I also believe he's gotten offers from collectives. And that's fine.

Nope. Only Rashada had signed the contract.

And yet UF allowed him to sign a scholarship knowing they were not. going to pay him. Classy!
Those recruits are really going to be flocking to Hogtown since they don’t give a damn about money.

He will be well compensated if he works hard.

It’s simple. As I’ve already posted, he will be well paid if he works hard. The better player he becomes the more NIL he will get.

I don't think you seem to understand how the NIL world works.

If he doesn’t work hard he will be asked to move on.

It’s been working pretty damn well at Georgia.

Rashada has no evidence until he has all of the evidence.
You seem confident that no one at Florida uses their cell phones.
All of the named parties will get a subpoena.
You say that this is a "go away" lawsuit.
That is not how the rashada family sees this.
It is how the liars and their lies are looking at the lawsuit. They settle now because the court will not be their friend.

Cell phones and emails likely have some strong evidence to present.
