You did not choke. State won the game. We put the ball into play and when you do that good things can happen.

In the pivotal inning we hit a batter, hit a batter, and made an error. And we did it with our better arms too. Thats a choke.

Yall outplayed us early. We were lucky to be knotted up in the 9th.

Cool? Games are being played so I want to win. We have a top 8 seed locked up. I’m not exactly worried.

Gonna be a fun 4 days

Top 4 seeds lose. Looks like a strategy.

Looks like the best teams wants to save their arms, LOL. Go out early. Should be 1 game and you are out. All 14 teams in, top two get a bye, the other 12 play, so there's 8 teams left. Single elimination. Hell, that gives teams like Mizzou and Auburn a shot, which would probably give the SEC an extra team.

Never got leaving two teams out. Its dumb. Next year with 16 that will be eliminated I guess.

I’d like to see us lose today and get the top arms a couple of innings each. None of the top teams want to waste pitching before post-season.. Let the lesser teams battle it out for regional positioning. I’m glad we didn’t really waste arms last night

Always disappointing to lose though,

Today’s A&M/Tennessee game is gonna be like that South Park episode where both teams try to lose.

Auburn and Missouri were the only two 'lesser' teams this season in the SEC -

the 4 schools playing in the 2 winner's bracket games today just happen to have each won Omaha at least once - the 4 top seeds playing in the 2 loser's bracket games today have won Omaha a combined .... never -

there are no lesser teams in Hoover this May - it's as stacked as it's ever been -

I really think it is best to just play the games, get some pitchers a few innings and go home. A&M has never been in this position before. And that idiot Childress would burn pitching every year in this tournament.

When you have nothing to play for, it shows.

Some teams are playing for positioning. Others aren’t. Congrats that SC gets to keep their coach now …. LSU, MSU, Vandy are all playing for better seeds. Nobody else has a reason to burn pitchers this week

I was worried Schloss would try to win this thing,

Kingston hasn't won a game in Omaha yet - his job is absolutely still in question going forward -

if there's ever been a season the SECT trophy is harder to win than Omaha - it's this season - so

I’ll drive down there just to see a Tennessee version of Randy Marsh fight an A&M version of the big dude in a Zoro mask.

Rest easy - he’ll “pull an Aggie” later, as well.
