We also already know that Arkansas/ARPB is on Thursday, 8/29 at 6:30 PM and Mizzou/Murray St is on Thursday, 8/29 at 8:00 PM.
Clemson and Georgia at Noon is kind of a bummer.
Miami/Florida will be about 126 degrees.

Yes, but Labor Day weekend and having a dome to play it in means you can have that one at any time. If that was a home game it would probably be in the evening, but neutral site gives it more flexibility.

Alabama does play Wisconsin at 11 CST, but not in Week 1. They play Western Kentucky in Week 1 at 6 CST.

I know I just wanted to brighten your day with another 11 am game

Florida A&M @ Norfolk State on ABC in primetime on August 24th?
SMU vs Nevada would have been a better selection than that.
WOOF

The worst. At least it's in Canada where it will be like 80 and now 110 like it was in Austin a few years ago.

Do you guys complain about everything

Early games are perceived by fans as they are not marquee, always been the sentiment.
However, the data shows that more viewers are tuning in earlier in the day, thus the change.
I prefer a later in the day marquee match up personally.

Perceived by SEC fans as not as important. The rest of the country knows better. They've been watching Michigan vs Ohio State or Texas vs Oklahoma for too long to buy it. If you play the big boys, they will come. Just more SEC bias.

Michigan and Ohio State is always at that time. I don’t even remember the last time it wasn’t.
And I doubt people felt those PAC 12 games that went past midnight on your side of this great nation were marquee.

It’s the annual hype of an HBCU matchup no one cares about. It’s a moral obligation.

When you said someone should commit sodomy on themselves with an unsanitary sex apparatus because your first game is at noon.
