I presume nothing else has changed at LSU between the first offer and 2nd (same majors offered. Same facilities. Staff/scheme).
If nothing has changed in terms of all the things that LSU is bringing to the athletes who want to be Tigers, then a higher 2nd offer is exactly what Brian Kelly is claiming that they do not do.

I don't know whether they "negotiate" for a fact, but it stands to reason that they do. What I do know is what our On3 moderators have reported, and they don't report bullshite speculation. They report what they can verify. Williams came to LSU and left LSU with an NIL offer that was commensurate with what every other school that was recruiting him had offered up to that point. Then he returned home and his handler suddenly wanted more money than any player or assistant coach on staff is currently making. LSU told him to frick off. So did Texas. He committed to OU. End of story.
