Listening to Jay's press conference today, he again made it sound like ear pieces on offense is a common thing. I didn't even know that was legal, let alone common. He made his stance very clear that he'd like to see all electronic devices banned from use on offense. He said they're basically turning "everyone into what happened in MLB a few years ago".

What is one good argument as to why earpieces should be allowed for a hitter? I can't even think of one..

I guess I haven’t noticed anyone using them outside of Miss State this year. I’ve noticed what we use on other teams, which is similar to pitch com but a watch type band that’s worn by all players.

I think I mentioned earlier, but I don’t even recall seeing the catchers with the wired earpieces much this year.
