Then why have you been laughing at this guy for years and his Big Dance results? Literally, you have dogged him out ad nauseam on this site.

You didn't ask when Cal had a great tournament run. You asked when he was better than Muss

Sure, and I was wondering, out loud, how much better you have to be to lose to Oakland in the 1st round. Do you get a parade for that in downtown Fayetteville?

You made this same stupid post in another thread. You’re a fricking Alabama fan trying to talk shite in basketball. Go sit the frick down.

We are very happy with Mike White. The improvement is remarkable and recruiting is going very well.

You think Mark Pope is better than HOFer Calipari?
Posted on 5/1/24 at 1:57 pm to LewEvansFan
Maybe not Cal’s first six years but better than his last four.

Dumb. Is winning the title the only way to be relevant?
Yes. Actually, I set the bar at making the championship.

As a recruiter, no. No one is.
As an Xs and Os guy? Absolutely.
Both are at very different points in their careers. Pope's just getting started on his long journey. Cal was coaching UMass in 1988. You can't compare the two right now? Replicating Cals first five years here will be impossible. But his last ten? Yeah, I believe Pope can exceed that pretty easily. Time will tell. For now, there's no way to say Pope is better than Cal.

Thinking basketball relevancy is limited exclusively to championship appearances is such a football mindset

Thinking Championships aren’t actual relevancy is a loser mindset.

In what SEC basketball world is Caliphari better than Musselman?

I am not old enough to remember everything about SEC basketball, but since I have been alive and following basketball, the last 15-20 years have been the glory years for the SEC in basketball. I can’t remember a time where almost every game is a challenge. I remember when I was at Auburn and we had Barbee and every SEC team automatically circled that as a win. Outside of Mizzou of this year, most years there is not an easy game in the SEC. And maybe I am being bias, probably am, but I really believe when Auburn went to the Final Four in 2019, it woke up every SEC team not named Ut and UK. I think that was a catalyst of these past few years of strong basketball play in the SEC. I mean, even your team is better than average and I dread when Auburn has to go on the road to play you guys. It’s completely different than it used to be when it was mostly just the 2-3 same teams every year dominating with an outlier here and there. And now adding Texas and Oklahoma? This is going to be really fun to watch.
