Sounds like you might pick up Onyenso

Yeah, what CCTider said.

If we get fortunate enough for Sears to come back, we'll have one open spot, with a 6'-11" freshman big (Aiden Sherrell).

Would like to take either Cliff or Onyenso there as an experienced rim-protector to work in Sherrell, who is a 5-star McDonald's All-American but obviously young.

What are your thoughts on Onyenso? He had foot issues (and is also young), but is still testing the draft, right?

Congrats on keeping him. He was fun to watch last year. Really like his game.

He's not getting drafted. He needs another year. His game is improving. Our best defending big last year, which isn't saying a lot, but he will be one year older and stronger.

I would like to have him back, if that were an option.

Thanks. I'm hoping with a year of experience in high major ball and him being able to play defense at his natural 4 spot (and less physical), his offense will become more consistent. I'm sure he's heard that from NBA people. If he can bring up his 3% and be consistent, he could work his way into the draft.

Took me a minute to find it, but this is the clip I always think about when I envision Nelson actually playing the stretch-4 without having to first back down a 7'-2" 280-lb. dude under the basket.

If we could land another true big, it just allows a whole dimension to come back to his game out on the wing (like that little curl cut).

He seems like a perfect example of why it's for that guys can go through the draft process and re-enter school. He's going to get very honest feedback from teams about what he needs to do to improve. That's a great resource for players, who often end up focusing on the wrong things. It's one of the few good rule changes over the last several years.

I've felt a lot of his offensive consistency issues were from being tired playing more physical defense than he's played in his life. Tired legs miss shots. He supposedly was very good at 3s in practice. It's why he had a green light. This year, i think you'll see more clips like that. Plus the tournament performance had to do wonders for his confidence entering the off-season.

Too bad that means very little when yall play against Broome.

Broome is 1-3 against Bama for his career and we’ll be the better team next year

Pornstache engaged!

He’s a good shooter, and he had a great NCAA tournament.

What was the Baylor guys name with the 1970s pornstache?

Only 60 dudes get drafted each year, but he is developing the skills they look for in modern NBA. Just takes one team to like hi at their pick.
It is a long shot for most players to get drafted, but if he gains strength in the offseason and plays lights out, I could see the possibility.

Nelson will make a really good living playing basketball somewhere for a decade. Probably Europe.

Bama had a nice run this year but it looks like an offensive roster only.

Aden and Philon aren’t playing defense on that team. The freshmen? Everyone is skinny with no muscle mass.

If you don’t take defense serious you might lose 13 games again.

I’ll take 13 losses and a trip to the Final Four.

Thanks!
