Literally every school has a camera set up on the catcher in centerfield now...It is called SEC+ and ESPN+.

It would not be that hard for any school to find any items that tip pitches from the mound or from the catcher.

Understood.. I'm just asking if anyone has heard anything about a catcher being studied based on the pitch that is called..

On that topic, doesn't a fielder also get the call? Perhaps a shortstop or centerfielder? They could also give a tell if they position themselves differently depending on the pitch coming..

Just thought it might be interesting..

What are you talking about? I said each stadium has a camera in centerfield that is on the pitcher and catcher the entire game.

You decided to bold Arkansas in the OP...So don't make an accusation on here if you cant handle the rest of us telling you how stupid it is and how off your batting average numbers were/are.

Again, this season I have yet to see any catcher throw signs in the crouched position to the pitcher.

Schloss should have whined a couple years ago, it would have made more sense then. Nearly 100% of college baseball uses the pitch com devices. So his bitching holds no water, no matter who the team is.

Again, ags can’t handle success. Holding #1 is a pressure cooker. He’s making future excuses in case they Aggie it up

I’m sure they’ll make up some dirt on whoever teams they face in regionals and supers too. And Omaha if they make it. Not just Arkansas

lsu is safe, we dont hit anywhere.

We are puritans. We dont even like to hit fly balls with runners on 3rd. Seems a bit unfair.

And homeruns, only with no one on.

I don't know if we will even make the postseason, but if we do, we will be sent to College Station. We won't have much of a chance to win that regional, but I sure would like the chance.. those Aggie tears would be DELICIOUS if we could pull off the upset..

If this is the best we can hit while cheating, we also need to get better at cheating.

Sounds like Schloss is as big of a bitch as the fanbase. Match made in heaven.

Logic has never stopped an Aggie melt before. It won't now.

Again, if we were cheating, wouldn’t we be over the Mendoza line?? It doesn’t make sense

The whole point is that even if someone did have the setup being claimed, it still wouldn't do anything considering calls are coming in through ear pieces and wristbands now.

I'd also be willing to bet Farmer knew that before starting this thread.

If anything, I'd be worried that my coach was dumb enough to think a camera feed of the catcher would do anything. So much so that he took it public.

I dug into Vandy. They've been absolute arse hole on the road. 3-7 road record.

In league play....295 at home and .222 on the road.

At home, they have have hit totals of 13, 17, 17, 12, 10. At home they have nine games of 8 or more hits. On the road, they have only had two games with double digit hit totals and seven games of 7 hits or less.

That settles it, we're cheating!!

Nevermind the fact that a quick 2 second glance at our scheduyle woudl show that we've gone on the road to:

Kentucky
Tennessee
MSU
Texas A&M

while we played at home for

Alabama
Missouri
Ole Miss

I mean SURELY the schedule has nothing to do with the stats. No way.

Cheating doesn't make you automatically good. Cheating should make you better than your baseline.

Exhibit A - 2017 Houston Astros Regular Season
Home Splits - 395 R, 115 HR, .812 OPS (48 wins 33 losses)
Away Splits - 501 R, 123 HR, .834 OPS (53 wins 28 losses)

So in theory, all that "cheating" the Astros did at home actually hurt them more than it helped them.. I am a huge Astros fan and I never really understood why they felt like they needed to do that.. then again, we don't hit great at MMP for whatever reason.. 2019 lost all 4 at home in WS.. idk if it's the batter's eye or something else..

Bottom line: It's possible for "cheating" to hurt you.

On the whole, that is true. It affected individuals differently. Marwin was greatly helped.
