Arkansas football is worth supporting, especially if we get the boosters on board.

Honestly, yes. An earthquake type of momentum shift is happening within the fanbase whether it’s realized, recognized, or not.

Follow the money.

They gave up ever since they hired Jack Crowe.

Look at all the hires since joining the SEC and that is enough evidence to show Arkansas didn't put in the commitment.

John Calipari, Dave Van Horn, Bobby Petrino

Hard to argue with that crop of head coaches on campus at the same time.

Not hard to argue at all with 2 of the 3z

quote:

John Calipari

His exit is celebrated by most UK fans. In the last 3 weeks, they’ve been posting a cop 24/7 on Richmond rd in front of his house so that people can’t tape for sale signs to his iron fence.

They’re able to offload a $33 million dollar NBA farm league coordinator that poses as a college basketball coach onto an in-conference school. Pretty sweet deal.

quote:

Bobby Petrino

Has been a complete train wreck for the last 8 years.

Dave Van Horn

Can’t argue with this one. Solid coach.

Maybe all that cal needs is another fresh start. If so, y’all will do well. But at some point, just like all the lethargic UK fans, you’re going to get tired of hearing “we’re everybody’s Super Bowl”, “they’re just freshmen”, and “here’s all the stuff everyone but me did wrong during the game, oh, but I like my team”.

Two out of three of the coaches are washed up.

We gave up a long time ago. We at least tried to keep up appearances when we hired Bert from Wisconsin, that could have worked. After Chad and Pittman, they don't even care if the lie is convincing anymore.

Doubt it. I’ve lived in Lexington for 30 years and have never seen the entire fan base be so completely indifferent toward basketball than I have in the last 5 years.

Sure, part of that is Stoops. The other part is Cal.

Let me lay this out 3 things that Arkansas fans probably aren’t taking into consideration:

1. World Wide Wes isn’t an agent anymore
2. The era of NIL has leveled the playing field
3. You aren’t Kentucky. You’re not even close.

Y’all can get offended and triggered and start ranting and raving about how horrible Auburn is and then comparing yourselves to Auburn all you want because I said you don’t compare to Kentucky (and a bunch of you will because your fanbase acts like petulant children). That doesn’t change the facts.

Yes, you got a recruiting upgrade. But you got a coaching downgrade to go with it.
