I'm so glad this is happening so their little annoying hall monitor police posters can shrivel up and crawl back down into the holes that they came out of.

What people have to understand is college basketball is not all Indiana, UCLA, UK, Duke, North Carolina anymore. Hell, 30 years ago folks didn't even know UConn had a basketball team. 40 years ago there is no way in hell the Bama coach turns down UK but this is a different time. In today's environment there are 35 schools that can win the title. I have all the respect in the world for UK growing up in the 70's and watching beyond and watching the Goose, Robey, Macy, Bowie, Mashburn, etc but those days are gone. It isn't the coveted job it was when Joe B took over for the Baron.

Tell me this. Who has UK officially offered that turned us down? You site me one, just 1 that Mitch offered publically that turned it down.
All the uproar over people "turning down the job" is from media talking head suggestions for the job that caused a tidal wave on forums like this.

There's a girl with purple hair at my grocery store who has turned it down. She's actually pretty cute.
I actually have yet to be contacted by Kentucky about whether or not I would be interested. Kind of hurts my feelings.
