He’ll likely have to with the way it’s looking. Good news is I think he’s someone that will do well with that many minutes. Bad news is we are screwed if anything happens to him.

Yep, I’d be shocked if Bruce used the 13th one unless it’s a walk on. Normally I’d agree with his philosophy that you’re not gonna get 13 quality players so might as well use it for a walk on, but AD is basically a walk on in my eyes. He’s a good scout team player and adds value to the team but don’t see him ever actually being a contributor during games.

I just watched Mitchell's highlights at Texas.... yes, please.
His glaring weakness is 3-point shooting, which probably hurts his value a lot in the modern game. But in every other part of his game he's a major impact player. In fact, he's exactly the kind of player Auburn has needed in my opinion for a few years.

Not sure if he barely shot because he sucked (possible considering he’s 0-8 for his career) but he also looked good in some pre draft workouts shooting 3’s. Way different setting than a game but had a solid, repeatable stroke. If he adds that to his game then he becomes a very good player.

Visit ended a little while ago. Hoke has some quotes. He said all the right things after. Part of me is skeptical if he was actually meaning what he was saying or just parroting the recruiting pitch. Said he was mostly focused on development and wasn’t too concerned with NIL since that money isn’t going to be there in 10 years.

I feel pretty confident in Mitchell committing sometime over the next few days.
