Matt Jones tweet…

Here is where the UK Basketball situation stands right now: The decision is all in Barnhart’s hands. I get the sense that if he decides he wants to move on, the money will be there for reasons @Andy_Staples described in his video yesterday. There is a sense of nervousness with everyone around the program bc no one is really sure where Barnhart’s mind is right now on it. I am told the University leadership is supportive of whatever he decides I think we know something by Monday, if not before

Them letting him know they have the money is basically them saying “fire him or we’ll fire you both”. That “we support your decision” line is total bullshite

He's coming back and there isn't really anything anyone can do about it. Cal is king in Lexington.

Yep…Cal is gone.
Sounds like we are going after Wright, Donavan…they turn down 10/10, then it’s Drew.

Don’t think so. Cal has pissed off too many in Lexington to survive.

It will be Drew then. Wright isn’t coming out of retirement and Donovan will be able to get another NBA job which is 10x an easier life than a college coach

Cal will stay in Lexington

Is this reluctance because of all the McDonald All-Americans Cal brings in? Aren't they coming anyway? At what point does Kentucky want to get back to building basketball teams from the core up in the traditional fashion?

Billy Donovan? Why in the world would he leave the nba to coach in the mess that is college ball these days?

Not his decision if we have his buyout.

So you arse twats are going to fire him and make him leave his home in Lexington too? Wow

Better shots and shot selection would have won the game. Sheppard had a terrible night also.
I don’t recall Cal playing in the game. You are just one of the biggest spoiled fanbase and your whining is not a good look son.

He gone.
This word-for-word phrase is exactly how Jimbo's exit from A&M began.
Once the donors line up that kind of money to get rid of someone, there's no salvaging the situation. Barnhart's hands are tied at this point.
