My dad was a high school football coach, and those shorts and shirts were 99% of his wardrobe! Of course, as a teenager I was embarrassed when he wore them to a restaurant or whatever.
He died last July, I sure miss him!

The NCAA having control over television, so there would be less revenue in this sport. Less revenue leads to less needs for conference realignment to stay in the revenue brinksmanship game. Less realignment means regional conferences still exist.

Reject modernity, embrace tradition, etc.
