Not sure why the IVF case would prevent high school athletes from avoiding the state of Alabama. The court ruling itself is completely understandable given the situation and the laws on the books. A bill will be introduced Monday that will try to deal with the unintended consequences of an 1872 law applied to a situation they could not have foreseen then.
