We are now a soccer school.
Heard Neymar almost committed to A&M but decided to go pro years ago. (Kidding)
Also in the works:
I wouldn’t mind going to either of those events. I can see a lot of schools hosting more events during summer. Doesn’t LSU host quite a few concerts during the summer?

You will regret having Mexican soccer fans hanging around

Most of Texas is from Central and South America, so this makes sense.

Because Brazil fans are so much better. I heard that semi-pro soccer players in Brazil cut off the ref's head after the game because he ruled against them. Legit.

Brazil blame on refs > LSU blame on refs

Is this intended to make your buddies in Qatar happy?

The record King George crowd was 104,793 back in 2014 at Jerryworld. I think we can top it.

I love George Straight's music. I went to his show here back in May. Enjoyed every minute of it.
Not a fan of soccer. Why would A&M host a game between Brazil and Mexico?

I assume our field is big enough (soccer fields are bigger than football fields). Also, soccer fans show out. That’s a lot of mullah to host events. I am an actual soccer fan as well, so I like it. This opens the door to start hosting more Concacaf games at Kyle.

What about the Qatar invitational?

Not really. They used to host a Memorial Day weekend country festival with several headline artists over 2 days but that went away. Hotter than a mf.

So they can print cups.

Like it or not soccer is the most popular sport in the world, with over 3.5 billion fans. Our national pastime, by comparison, has about 500 million fans. Brazil's national team is one of the top three most popular in the world. A soccer game between Brazil and Mexico in Texas will be an easy sell out.
