The fact that, theoretically, a student athlete must maintain a minimum grade point avg and a minimum number of hours, makes his 7 or 8 years in school with no degree at all hard to understand.

Uh....half of our team every season leaves early for the NFL to make millions because we are an NFL player-factory, and are light years ahead of other teams in developing talent, unlike the rest of your peasant schools. What part of that is hard to understand?

Yeah they’re there to play football. Who cares. College is a scam. I have two degrees in environmental science and I make more money pouring concrete for a living than I did using my “education”

I don't really care about it all that much but it is interesting that about the only thing Kirby didn't model after Saban's program was the academic piece. I thought that was an area that Saban didn't get much credit for because no one really cares about academics in college football.
