Imagine saying this when:
1.) Your team lost to New Mexico State
2.) You still lost the Iron Bowl
3) You didn't even make the Playoffs

Damn... rough logic coming out of Lee County

Thats the beauty of Auburn. We are named after a small town in eastern Alabama and still everyone knows who we are. There is a lot to be proud about that fact. We have better academics and are on the upswing in football while being elite in basketball.

I personally like the dynamics.

This is some high level delusion. Literally no one knows or cares who Auburn is outside of the SEC footprint, and if they do, it's by association from the Iron Bowl. By comparison, Bama is a nationally and in some cases world renowned brand. Charles Barkley knows your school's place. You'd think the fans would too.

Yeah, getting curb stomped by NMST while spending the extra week game planning for daddy, only to fall flat on your face there as well really screams "upswing."

Chuck seems like a down to earth good dude. Of course, he's a millionaire and was well-paid when he was at the barn, so he didn't have to drink the kool-aid like the rest of their lunatic fans.

Not really. No one cares about the barn. Your most famous NFL alumni is a giant laughing stock in NFL circles due to his performance in the Super Bowl. No one in the NE, Midwest or West Coast follows anything relating to the barn.

They do when it comes to Bama.

Everywhere I've lived (NY, CO, Austin TX, CA), Bama has been a known and established brand even to casual followers of sports. No one gives a shite about Auburn, and why would they? Not sure why this reality is so difficult for you to accept.

Historically, bama is the top football school in the South but AU is the superior institution overall and it’s not even close. I mean UAT is ranked lower than UAB in academics…

Auburn is located near a booming metropolis (Atlanta) and the most famous CEO in the world is an Auburn grad. In contrast, Tuscaloser is located near a lower-tier city and their legendary fb coach works for Mr. Mouse now…

"Near" being close to 2 hours.

Most famous CEO in the world being a huge scumbag. And he's a degenerate homosexual as well.

All that tracks.

The homeless shelters in those states do give out hand me downs so I can see your point with established brand for a pig skin.
Elon Musk calls an Auburn grad for permission to launch Space X. Bama lawyer grad stands on the ground hoping for a crash and lawsuit.
