We aren't a top 3 team definitely by any means but we're in the conversation. However I think that we finish top 3 in the SEC due to our schedule. We catch Ole Miss, Bama, and OU at Home. Road games are rebuilding Aggie, Florida, Arkansas, and South Carolina. That's literally as manageable as it can get with realignment.
Ole Miss goes to LSU and has Georgia.
Alabama goes to LSU, Tennessee, Oklahoma, and has Georgia.

I think there’s a solid chance LSU takes the tinniest step back this coming season. But there is more that goes into it than just that, as you pointed out. I can definitely see you being correct.
