Absolutely great recovery on 18 to take the win. Nerves of steel.

Great win. Guessing he will turn pro.
Lots of good exposure for Bama too. Two Bama guys in the final group. Seawell was there in Bama gear and got an interview. Saban even had a call in segment.

Best of luck to him going forward in his pro career. He has definitely taken his last competitive shot as an amateur.

Just read somewhere that he will not get the money of the FedExCup points because he's an amateur.
If so that absolutely stinks. All the college football players, basketball players, etc. are raking in millions, but he can't get the 8 million that he won.

AmEx should sign him to an NIL deal worth whatever the winner got.

The winner gets 1.5 million. Since Dunlap is an amateur he gets zero and second place gets the money as if he won. So instead of 900k he gets the 1.5 million.

Gutsy performance! Burns had a one shot lead then hit two in the water. Good to see JT have a good weekend.

At least Dunlap got the trophy. Lost a million bucks though.

That's pretty damn crazy!

the third guy in the group had RTR carved into his haircut. Burns is from LSU and lost a bet with JT on last years game.

If an amateur wins, they should put the money in escrow and hold it till the golfer turns Pro. That’s fair.
I mean how often does this happen; it should be an easy fix.

What an amazing accomplishment by @NickDunlap62 , stellar play and way to pull through under pressure to join a very selective group of players to win PGA tour events as an amateur! Great future ahead of this great talent! Congratulations.
